LAND FOR FARMERS: (First-page commentary in Kathimerini) – «Discussions held during the past week by the Authorization Committee for the distribution of farmland in Kopais to farmers has shown that certain bad habits from the past have not yet disappeared from our political life. Apparently, certain parliamentary deputies still believe that their main purpose is to concern themselves with local issues and to support views, individuals or groups simply because this serves local party interests. If everything they claimed was accepted as regards the distribution of land in Kopais, injustices would have been committed against farmers who were waiting with justified concern to acquire a small plot of land in order to be able to improve their lives as much as possible.» COSTIS MICHAILIDIS SCHOOL: On the 19th of this month, the second session begins at the Theater School of Costis Michailidis, a director of the Royal Theater. Teachers at the school (39 Panepistimiou, Pesmazoglou Building) include Leon Koukoulas, Yiannis Tsarouchis, Dimis Apostoloulos, Grigoris Vafias, Mrs Polly Matey and Yvonne De Cirico.
