Fighting the opposers

The guerrilla war that has been waged by certain government officials in the SYRIZA-Independent Greeks coalition government against the country’s privatization drive is showing no signs of abating, whether carried out in public or behind the scenes.

There are multiple messages coming in from several international partners who would like to see Greece stand on its own feet one day. If this singular type of resistance persists, the country will be unable to regain its credibility and it will collapse.

There is very little time left for Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to demonstrate, even at such a late stage, some kind of elementary decisiveness and put these voices to rest.
