PANAGIS PAPALIGOURAS: Paris, 13 (From our correspondent Spyros Theodorou) – Greece has deregulated 97 percent of its import trade and is willing to retain this liberal trade policy under certain conditions. Greece will facilitate the continuation of this policy if certain industrial countries lift their protectionist policies on farm products. This is the substance of today’s speech by Coordination Minister Mr Panagis Papaligouras at the council of the Organization for European Economic Cooperation. Mr Papaligouras, within the framework of contacts aimed at Greece’s economic reconstruction and increasing the rate of exploiting its productive resources under the most favourable conditions possible (…), met in private today with Germany National Economy Minister Mr Erhardt and with Mr Edgar Faure. PRINCESS ELISABETH: With deep regret, His Majesty King Pavlos announced today the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Elisabeth of Greece, Countess zu Toerring-Jettenbach, on January 11. His Majesty the King has declared a seven-day period of mourning.
