DEATH SENTENCES: Lamia, 18- A Lamia court yesterday heard a case against seven members of a village defense force from Damiana, in Evrytania, who, when outlaws entered their village, allegedly drew up a list of 23 nationalists among them, whom the outlaws promptly executed. The latter also seized animals and looted buildings. (…) The court sentenced Constantine Halkias and Aristides Kitsos to death on 23 counts (…) and Giorgios Bakas to death on six counts.
