PAPAGOS’S HEALTH: The following bulletin on the health of the Prime Minister, Field Marshal Alexandros Papagos, was issued yesterday afternoon by the prime minister’s political bureau: «The following medical bulletin on the health of the Prime Minister was signed by only one of his physicians, as the other, Professor Malamos, is in London attending a course on atomic energy. The Field Marshal, who has been free of fever and all other symptoms for two weeks, is now fully recovered. Ekali, July 7, Dr N. Bobolas.» It was announced that Field Marshal Papagos will begin working with Cabinet members today. «HECUBA:» From a review by Jean-Jacques Gautier in Le Figaro of a performance of Euripides’ «Hecuba» at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, directed by Alexis Minotis, with Katina Paxinou in the leading role: «It was the first time in my life I had seen and heard a living tragic chorus. I became aware of its presence and its purpose. The part of the chorus in the action was enchanting. One must go to Epidaurus to see the Greeks performing an ancient Greek tragedy.»
