BANS FOR CARNIVAL CELEBRATIONS: Athens Police Headquarters has announced that during the Carnival celebrations there will be a blanket ban on immoral and indecent spectacles as well as any displays or performances that offend public morals, as well as the parading of apes, bears and other wild animals. Masked and disguised individuals circulating at night are not allowed to carry sticks or other hard objects. The wearing of masks is also banned in the streets. Finally, no one is allowed to wander around in a state of undress or with their faces blacked out. NEARLY 3 MILLION TICKETS: «Titania as of tomorrow.» Over 2.8 million theater-goers throughout the country are familiar with the film «The Children of Sin.» Now audiences will have the chance to see the even better story «L’Angelo Bianco,» by the same author, the same company, the same director and the same cast: Amedeo Nazzari, Yvonne Sanson. (Ed. note: The original title of the melodramatic Italian film that was such a box office hit in Greece was «Figli de Nessuno,» directed by Rafaello Matarazzo in 1951.)
