GREECE-USSR: Although the recent talks in Athens between the Soviet Foreign Minister Mr Dimitri Sepilov and the Greek government were officially described as satisfactory in general, they did not achieve the desired results, according to reliable sources… While Mr Sepilov arrived in Athens for specific purposes, that is to improve Greek-Russian relations and restore a climate of trust between the two countries, it does not appear that this was achieved due to the extreme reservations displayed by the Greek Foreign Minister Mr Evangelos Averoff…. Mr Sepilov went to the Political Bureau yesterday at 12.30 p.m. and had a meeting with Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis… At 3 p.m., an unofficial luncheon was held at the prime minister’s residence in Kavouri, in honor of the Soviet foreign minister. ALEXIS MINOTIS: Tomorrow evening at the ancient theater of Epidaurus there will be a performance of Sophocles’ «Oedipus Rex» with Alexis Minotis in the title role and as director. Minotis’s talent as a director and actor has met with international recognition.
