Tram lies?

There is no way a two-way tramline can be installed as the magical photomontage depicts it. The sidewalk would become much narrower. The trees on the seaside would be cut. The six-lane (both ways) road would become a four-lane (both ways) road and the trees on the land side would be cut. Finally the deceptive photo (February 20) has forgotten to pencil in the overhead wires and the metal posts needed to support them. (Hopefully the last deception is only that; and they are not planning to install the electricity conductors on the ground by the track!) All these are bad points as it were; but what about making the tram less an enemy of the environment and more user-friendly? How about taking it through the streets of Faliron, where it will be in use well after its last Olympic usage has become a thing of memory? And though the Games were held in the USA, the judges were still foreigners from all around the world. So why would there be favoritism (considering how in vogue anti-Americanism is these days, you’d expect the opposite)?
