FOR PPC: The Technical Chamber has announced that it is opposed to any consideration or action that would alter or do away with the institution of the Public Power Corporation (PPC) which has been shown to be the only (organization) capable of distributing electrical power to the country. Greece’s technical establishment believes that the state should not only stop its practice of doing away with institutions that have proved their value, but in fact should support their work. SOFIA OF GREECE: As of tomorrow, Princess Sofia begins her studies at the Princess Sofia Infants’ Center, which belongs to the Queen Frederiki Infants’ Center «Mitera.» DALI AND DON QUIXOTE: Paris, 17 – The great – albeit very eccentric – modern Spanish artist Salvador Dali has arrived in the French capital. Dali recently undertook to illustrate a monumental edition of Cervantes’ «Don Quixote,» to be published shortly by one of France’s largest publishing houses. The artist has been working on the book day and night. His visit to Paris is for the sole purpose of seeking inspiration and to paint the famous windmills of La Mancha.
