Mavromihalis is to run as an independent in the district of Oitilo with his photograph as his emblem; Mr T. Tourkovasilis’s Nationalists’ Party, is to have the palm tree as its emblem. BIZIM DENIZ: From a news item yesterday from the island of Mytilene: «The crews of the fishing boats Argo and Taxiarchis who have just returned to the island from Turkey after serving a one-month prison term, said that the Turkish prosecutor told them during their trial that the sea belongs to Turkey and that Greek fishermen do not have the right to fish in it!» One wonders what the term «Mare Nostrum» is in Turkish. MANZANA: The women’s wear manufacturer Manzana (Ed. note: the name of an Italian town) has resumed operations; 18A Ermou Street, Athens.
