AEK defeats Iraklis away 2-0…
AEK forward Christos Maladenis (l), shown here in a file photo, yesterday helped his team defeat Iraklis away 2-0 by scoring the opening goal in the 17th minute. Demis Nikolaidis scored AEK’s second goal in the 79th minute to seal the victory. After 11 rounds in the Greek league, AEK and Iraklis are tied for fifth place, five points behind leader Olympiakos.
