AEK’s Nikos Zissis goes for an easy layup past efforts by Panathinaikos’s Larry Middleton to block the shot in yesterday’s second playoff final for the Greek basketball championship. Despite missing its most valuable player, forward Dimos Dikoudis, to injury, AEK prevailed 72-67 to even the best-of-five series 1-1. The match was quite similar to the previous one, only this time it was Panathinaikos which led in the first half before its offense collapsed in the third quarter.
