Olympiakos appeared in fine shape ahead of its Champions League premiere against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, beating visiting OFI 3-0 on Saturday, but Macedonian minnows Veria are those that are sitting pretty at the top of the Super League table with a perfect record after three rounds of games.

Veria came from behind at home to beat Kerkyra 2-1 on Saturday and reach nine points, while the other team to have had six points before this weekend, Atromitos, could only draw 0-0 at home against Panetolikos on Sunday.

Olympiakos is also on seven points after defeating OFI in emphatic fashion in Piraeus on Saturday, through an own goal by Dele Adeleye and two beautiful strikes by Jimmy Durmaz and Chori Dominiguez. Gennaro Gattuso’s OFI was disappointing on the night.
