One through, one battling, one gone

The second stage of Euroleague group play concludes tonight and tomorrow with one Greek team already through to the quarterfinals, one facing a do-or-die encounter, and the other already eliminated. Undefeated in Group F with a 5-0 record and two wins clear of Barcelona, Panathinaikos will be greeted by the Spanish team tonight having sealed the top spot. Also tonight, Aris, which has failed to win in second-stage group play, hosts Group G front-runner Unicaja. Tomorrow, Olympiakos, on 2-3, takes on visiting DKV Joventut, needing victory to secure second place in Group E and a quarterfinals berth.
