Bulgarian blocker for Olympiakos
Bulgarian international blocker Krasimir Gaydarski has agreed to ply his trade in Greece with the volleyball team of Olympiakos. He was in the Bulgaria squad that took bronze at last year’s World Championship in Japan. The former Levski Sofia player, who also featured in the recent World League with Bulgaria reaching the Final Six, is 24 years old and 2.04 meters tall. He will join Olympiakos’s other new blocker, the Venezuelan Ivan Marquez and Greek veteran Akis Hatziantoniou. Olympiakos plans to delay the official announcement of Gaydarski’s signing as they try to sign an outside hitter too.
