Panathinaikos looks to extend its winning run

European champion Pana-thinaikos will seek to maintain its unbeaten run after four rounds of opening-stage Euroleague play tonight when it meets Chorale Roanne in Clermont, France, tonight. The French champions go into the fifth-round Group C match with a 1-3 record. Panathinaikos’s Dimitris Diamantidis can expect to test his defensive skills against Brion Rush, a leading scorer in the competition. Also tonight, Olympiakos, on a 2-2 record behind Group A’s co-leaders Tau Ceramic and CSKA Moscow on 3-1, hosts Prokom. Olympiakos guard Arvydas Macijauskas is expected back after missing last week’s action due to injury. But the Piraeus club will miss Lynn Greer, who was injured in the previous round’s loss against CSKA. Playing tomorrow, Aris, Greece’s third Euroleague representative, is at home to Milano, still without a win after four games in Group B. Aris goes into the game on a 3-1 record.
