Victory could seal top 16 Euroleague spot for Aris
Aris basketball club could seal its place in the Euroleague’s top 16 with an away victory against Milano tonight in Group B, if the result is combined with a Cibona Zagreb loss to Maccabi tomorrow. «To be honest, I’m confident about our trip to Milano. My players have bounced back from the tough home loss against Lietuvos Rytas by winning on the road and in domestic competition,» said Aris coach Gordon Herbert. Aris is fifth in the eight-team group with a 6-5 record. Milano, second from last on a 2-9 record, has lost its last four games. The top five qualify.
