Volleyball’s top games in Salonica
The volleyball league has two important matches tonight at the start of the ninth round. Chart-topper Panathinaikos is traveling to Thessaloniki to face PAOK at 6 p.m., in a tricky game for the Greens. PAOK snatched a point from champion Iraklis two weeks ago. Then, at 9 p.m. across town, Iraklis entertains Lamia needing to recover from its away loss to Panathinaikos last Sunday. Iraklis will welcome back its main setter, German Simon Tischer who had missed the Panathinaikos game due to injury. The other four ties in the ninth round will be played tomorrow.
