Pharmacists to refuse EOPYY customers credit until debts settled

Pharmacists have decided to continue their refusal to provide medicines on credit to customers insured with the National Organization for Healthcare Provision (EOPYY) until it has settled all its debts.

The National Pharmacists’ Association said that it would only suspend its action after debts with all pharmacies have been settled.

The union also expressed opposition to EOPYY’s efforts to sign individual contracts with pharmacies. It said no pharmacists would sign such deals.
