Dromeas wins contract with German Army

Serres-based, Athens-listed furniture trading company Dromeas has signed its second 2015 contract to cover the furniture requirements of the German Army. The value of the new project is some 1 million euros and was preceded on February 25 by a contract to supply the German military with furniture worth 1.7 million euros.

In a statement released Tuesday, Dromeas said, “The long-term, serious attempt of the company’s export development is yielding concrete results, enhancing our international prestige and helping to improve the recognition of the national economy in general.”

On July 29, Dromeas won an international tender for furniture supply to all the services of the European Commission for the next five years with a total budget of 30 million euros.

In a statement regarding that contract, the company said, “This was the second consecutive contract won for the European Commission following a contract awarded in 2009 with a four-year duration, and confirms the technological superiority of Dromeas at an international level.”
