M&M Gas sells first quantities in Bulgaria
M&M Gas, a joint venture of the Motor Oil and Mytilineos groups, conducted the first sale of natural gas quantities to Bulgaria via its station at Sidirokastro in Macedonia last Friday.
While they may have been small quantities, their symbolism is huge as they signal the beginning in practice of the plan to render Greece a natural gas hub.
The quantities were sold to a major international company that is active in Bulgaria through a subsidiary for the supply of gas to a large industry. The transaction paves the way for moves of a larger scale in the future.
