MRB poll gives ND near 13-point lead over SYRIZA

A new poll published Wednesday gave opposition New Democracy a 12.9-point lead over ruling SYRIZA.

In the survey, conducted by MRB from December 2-9, 29.1 percent of respondents said they would vote for the conservatives in the event of a general elections, as opposed to 16.2 percent backing the leftist party.

The extreme-right Golden Dawn was on 8.3 percent, Democratic Alignment (PASOK) on 6.5 percent, the Greek Communist Party (KKE) on 6.4 percent and former speaker Zoe Constantopoulou’s Sailing for Freedom party on 3.1 percent. The Union of Centrists was right on the three percent threshold for entering Parliament.

Independent Greeks (ANEL), To Potami and Antarsya polled under 3 percent, MRB said.
