Prec(ar)ious Collectives | Athens | To April 12

Palais de Tokyo, Pavillon Neuflize OBC (Palais de Tokyo's artist-in-residence program) and Fluxum Foundation/Flux Laboratory present a visual arts/dance project curated by Fabien Danesi and choreographed by Andonis Foniadakis in Athens in parallel to the documenta 14 art exhibition, which this year is taking place in the Greek capital as well as its traditional home, Kassel in Germany. In the performance, six dancers currently in residence at Pavillon Neuflize OBC and eight contemporary Greek choreographers question the notion of community as a situation and not as a subject to illustrate. This hybrid contemporary project, which is being held with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Athens, is taking place in a historic building at 23 Academias Street, where the the public are invited to walk around the building to get a feel of the location's architectural aspects. Opening times are 2 to 10 p.m. from April 6 to 9 and 2 to 8 p.m. from April 10 to 12, with the dance performance starting at 9 p.m. For more information, see www.fluxlaboratory.com.
