Ejekt Festival | Athens | June 24 & July 14

The Ejekt Festival returns to Plateia Nerou (Water Square) in the Faliro Delta, southern Athens, on Saturday, June 24, with bands including Las Vegas quartet the Killers, bluesy punk duo the Kills, Liverpool indie-rock band Circa Waves and Athens-based Deaf Radio slated to perform. The event’s second and final day on Friday, July 14, also boasts a cracking lineup: British rock band Kasabian, enduring Scottish rockers the Jesus and Mary Chain, the legendary Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) and his band the Light, American experimental rock band Of Montreal, and Black Hat Bones, a high-adrenaline rock band from Athens. Admission to the seaside festival costs 46 euros for tickets purchased in advance or 50 euros at the gate on the day (85 and 90 euros respectively for VIP tickets). Tickets can be purchased at www.viva.gr, www.tickethour.com and Public, Germanos, Cosmote, Seven Spots, Reload and Evripides stores.
