Tsakalotos sees no need for precautionary credit line

Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos told Parliament during Monday’s session on the "social dividend" that Greece will exit the bailout process without needing any further support as it is winning back market confidence.

"We have tapped the markets for a second time and will for a third too so as to emerge [from the bailout program] without a precautionary credit line," the finance minister stated.]

Two weeks earlier the Parliament’s Budget Office had warned that a precautionary credit line would be ‘possibly necessary’ next year.
