Man found dead in sea off Corinth Canal
The Coast Guard found the body of a man floating in the sea off the Corinth Canal on Thursday evening, the authority said on Friday.
The body of the 25-year-old Greek national was transferred to Corinth’s General Hospital unconscious, where he was pronounced dead.
The forensic authority of Nafplio-Kalamata will conduct an autopsy, while the local Cost Guard is investigating the incident.
