Children used as sex slaves

Police have arrested a woman in Ilion, northwest Athens, accused of brutally abusing her three underage children and forcing them to work as sex slaves, police said yesterday.

The woman’s boyfriend was also arrested along with a 60-year-old priest and an 83-year-old man, both allegedly among the couple’s customers.

Police said the mother was also accused of photographing and videotaping her 11-year-old daughter while she was being forced to have sex, as well as forcing a second girl, aged 8, to work as a sex slave. Police said the Orthodox priest had sex with one of the girls inside a chapel two years ago.

The mother held the arms of her daughter while the child was crying and trying to resist the sexual abuse, a police source said. Her two sons were aged 8 and 9, police added.
