Five dead in road accidents within 24 hours

EUROKINISSI

Police and firemen yesterday surveyed the wreck of a car that collided with another vehicle on a notoriously dangerous stretch of highway on the Maliakos Gulf, killing two people and injuring two, one seriously. Witnesses said both cars involved in the crash had been attempting to overtake the cars in front of them. Another two people died in a pile-up on the Athens-Lamia highway yesterday and one died in an accident in Hania, Crete.
