Woman, 43, murdered on Kos

Police on the Dodecanese island of Kos in the southeastern Aegean were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 43-year-old woman on Monday.

The victim, a Romanian national, was discovered in a pool of blood by her partner, an Albanian national, in her home in the village of Platani.

According to police reports, the victim had sustained injuries to her neck and genital area.
