Girlfriend arrested for stabbing soldier to death on Karpathos

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested on the island of Karpathos on suspicion of killing a 30-year-old professional soldier.

The woman was arrested after allegedly confessing that she attacked the soldier with a broken glass. The womans 50-year-old mother and a 42-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting a criminal.

The woman, who was in a relationship with the soldier, is alleged to have stabbed the 30-year-old man in the kitchen of the apartment they shared during an argument.

Her mother and the 42-year-old man are accused of helping her cover up the crime.
