Cypriot economy shrinks 2.3 pct in Q2 year-on-year
Cyprus’s economy contracted 2.3 percent in the second quarter compared with the same period of 2011, the Nicosia-based Cyprus Statistical Service said in a statement on its website on Friday.
That was the same as an initial estimate the service made on August 14.
The economy shrank 0.7 percent in the three months to June 30 compared with the first quarter, the statement said.
