Party for sick children at the Elpida residence
Marianna Vardinoyianni, the only Greek member of the board of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, has invited Suzanne Mubarak to visit the residence for children with cancer and their parents. At a recent party held by the Elpida Foundation at the residence, both for its own patients and other children from the Aghia Sophia and Aglaia Kyriakou children’s hospitals, the theme was «Magic Journey to Chile,» with films and entertainment for children. The Chilean singer Marta Contreras (who for 25 years accompanied singer Georges Moustaki), interpreted poems by Nobel Prize winner Gabriela Contreras and sang traditional Chilean songs.
