Russell Crowe praises Greek islands on Twitter after visit to Myconos
Reports of Oscar-winning Russell Crowe vacationing on the cosmopolitan Aegean island of Myconos earlier this week were accompanied by tweets from the actor himself.
“How is it that I’ve lived 49 years on this planet but never been to the Greek Islands before. So beautiful. Yassou Mykonos I will return,” wrote the New-Zealand-born, Australia-based actor on his Twitter account, which is followed by over 950,000 people, on Tueday.
Following Mykonos, Crowe, who earned an US Academy Award for his performance in Ridley Scott’s 2000 epic «Gladiator», was reportedly vacationing in neighboring Turkey.
