Days for Christmas presents
The Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Environment and Cultural Heritage is holding a Christmas bazaar with gifts from Greece’s natural and cultural heritage, chosen and provided by members and friends of the society. Open on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the bazaar will be held at the society’s headquarters in Plaka at 28 Tripodon Street, with works of art, books on nature and architecture, handcrafted silks from India, organic products, a children’s corner with toys and the society’s New Year Coin. Meanwhile, this weekend is also the occasion of the Greek Animal Welfare Society’s bazaar, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Art Center in Eleftherias Park on Vassilissis Sofias Avenue (nearest metro station, Megaro Mousikis).
