Book launch, a workshop, festive fun

Christmas special There’s more fun for children at Vox Bookstore this Saturday, where Livanis Publishers is running a series of events during the festive season. Actors Vassilis Vassilakis and Matina Dimitropoulou will be giving a dramatized reading of Kenneth Grahame’s story «Christmas at Home,» then children can act out parts of the story and make Christmas masks with the actors’ help. Writers’ workshop Budding writers, take note: The European Translation Center (EKEMEL) is holding a writers’ workshop under Stratis Haviaras, director of the Teaching the Novel workshop at Harvard University. The workshop has separate sessions for beginners and advanced groups. The writers’ workshop runs from February 10 to April 10, 2004.
