Olympic spirit in art and kites
The Olympic Idea will be flying high on Monday – Clean Monday, the first day of Orthodox Lent – and is the theme of an exhibition at the Astrolavos Gallery in Dexameni in Kolonaki until February 28. Works by well-known artists will be exhibited under the aegis of the Culture Ministry’s General Secretariat for Sports. On Monday afternoon, February 23, kites signed by artists such as Dimitris Mytaras, Nikos Stefanou, Manolis Haros and Giorgos Golfinos will be flying over Lycabettus Hill, competing for prizes.
