Curricula vitae
This anthology comprises the literary work of a total of 40 contemporary American poets – published poets – 17 women and 23 men, in an impressive cumulative curriculum vitae of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rockefeller Foundation, Pushcart Prizes, MFAs in creative writing, Rhodes and Fulbright scholars, Lannan Poetry Award and Italo Calvino Prize-winners, and chairs of creative writing, classics scholars, poetry editors, translators and a professor emerita. All of them have come to Greece and worked their knowledge of the country into their art.
