Diplomatic celebrations and farewells
Russian Ambassador and Mrs Andrey V. Vdovin have issued an invitation to a reception to celebrate their country’s national day at the embassy in Palaio Psychico this coming Tuesday with vodka, blini with caviar and wishes for peaceful times. Meanwhile, German Ambassador and Mrs Albert Spiegel, who have hosted many a pleasant evening in the lovely garden of their residence in Halandri, are to leave us shortly. They are throwing a party to say goodbye to their friends here, by whom they will be truly missed.
