Goulandris Museum stars at cultural panorama in Paris
A cultural panorama of European Union countries was organized in the imposing reception area of the Quai d’Orsay, illustrating features of each country and the links among the states. The presentation was curated by the spouses of EU ambassadors in France – for Greece that was Olia Paraskevopoulou, wife of Greek Ambassador to Paris Dimitris Paraskevopoulos. The Goulandris Natural History Museum was invited to represent Greece. The Greek presentation was outstanding, with Greek plants painted by the museum’s director, Niki Goulandri, on Limoges and Royal Copenhagen porcelain and Hermes silk.
