Manos Eleftheriou weaves fact and fiction in «I gynaika pou pethane dio fores» (The Woman Who Died Twice), published by Metaichmio. At 7 p.m. today, writer Giorgos-Ikaros Babasakis and writer and co-editor of Lexi magazine Thanassis Niarchos will discuss the book; actor Betty Arvaniti will read extracts. Auction Attention bibliophiles: The Vivliofilia magazine is auctioning rare books at 5 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Foreign Press Association (23 Academias, Athens, tel 210.363.7318). ‘Stenography’ Kedros Publishers launches «Stenografia» (Stenography) by Costas Mavroudis, a mixture of poetry, essays and fiction, at 8.30 p.m. tomorrow. Poet Titos Patrikios, critic Vangelis Hadzivassileiou and writer Yiannis Efstathiadis will speak about the book. Joining the author to present his latest work are the illustrator of the book, Euphrosyne Doxiadi, actor Dimitris Kataleifos, musician Leonidas Maridakis, and writers Christos Asteriou and Dimitris Sotakis in an open discussion.
