Kathimerini English Edition hits jackpot in 2008 New Year’s cake
The Kathimerini family this week cut its New Year cake for 2008, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company’s purchase by Aristides Alafouzos. The gold coin – which traditionally represents good luck for the year – was in the slice that went to Kathimerini English Edition. What is more, three of the department’s staff members were among the lucky recipients of free trips to a European city, generously donated by Kathimerini SA to staff members in a draw.
