Bajofondo returns to Greece
Back in Athens following a successful performance last year staged to celebrate a gold record award for domestic sales of their «Mar Dulce» album, electro-traditional Argentinean act Bajofondo play tomorrow night at the Fuzz Club (22 Vouliagmenis, 9.30 p.m.). Led by Gustavo Santaolalla, winner of Best Soundtrack Oscars for the films «Brokeback Moun-tain» and «Babel,» Bajofondo’s lineup includes musicians, vocalists, producers and DJs, who joined forces behind Santaolalla, a gifted songwriter and guitarist. Combining traditional tango sounds and electronica, Bajofondo became known about six years ago. Critical acclaim quickly came their way to shift the act from the fringe to the mainstream. Besides capturing attention for their recorded work, Bajofondo also drew interest for their exciting and fulfilling live performances which combine visual arts and digital art with music.
