Ajax | Epidaurus | July 17-18

Director Vangelis Theodoropoulos and the Neos Kosmos theater company are staging Sophocles’ “Ajax” at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18. The production is part of the Greek Festival. The tragedy is set during the 10th year of the Trojan War when the Greek warrior Ajax claims the armor of dead hero Achilles, which the Greek leaders eventually award to Odysseus. In Greek with English surtitles. Tickets range from 12 to 40 euros (10 to 15 euros for students). Performances start at 9 p.m.
