Athens World Poetry Festival | Athens | September 21-26
The Athens Concert Hall is hosting the 2nd Athens World Poetry Festival. Events run from Monday, September 21, to Saturday, September 26. The event features appearances by more than 50 poets from 21 countries, including Nanos Valaoritis, Titos Patrikios, Kiki Dimoula (photo) and Yiannis Dallas from Greece, as well as Carolyn Forche from the US, Gerhard Falkner from Germany and Fernando Rendon from Colombia. The festival is organized in association with the Poets’ Circle. Admission is free of charge.
