The Benaki Museum is hosting a lecture by Dr Vasileios Syros Titled “Architecture and Good Government in Europe and the Islamic World” at the cultural organization’s Islamic Art annex on Wednesday, November 18. The lecture will seek to identify a core set of shared concerns on city design and the complex social dymanics of urban life. Dr Syros is a senior research fellow at the Academy of Finland. His teaching and research interest focus on Christian, Islamic and Jewish interaction in the fields of political thought and culture. Starts at 7.30 p.m. and admission is free.
