This is War | Athens | To March 13
Award-winning Canadian director Alan Dilworth is in Athens directing a production of Hannah Moskovitch's “This is War” at the Porta Theater. The intense 90-minute play sees four soldiers having to recount the events that led to a possible atrocity in the Panjwaii desert during a joint battle with the Afghan National Army against the Taliban in 2006. The play has been translated into Greek by Thomas Moschopoulos and stars Anna Kalaitzidou, Yiannis Yiannoulis, Ilias Moulas and Anastasis Roilos. On stage Thursdays and Fridays at 9.15 p.m. and Sundays at 6.30 p.m.through March 13. Admission costs 15 euros (10 reduced).
