Stamatis Kraounakis | Epidaurus | July 15-16

Greek composer Stamatis Kraounakis, singer Eleni Ouzounidou and the Spira-Spira theater company will be putting on a special performance at the Little Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16, inspired by a speech delivered to young Greeks by Greek War of Independence hero Theodoros Kolokotronis at the Pnyx in Athens in 1838. Shows at 8.30 p.m. Admission costs 20 euros, 10 euros for students. The performances are part of this year’s Greek Festival. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online at www.viva.gr as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St, inside the arcade (open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. daily).
