The Birds | Epidaurus | August 19-20
Nikos Karathanos directs Aristophanes’ “Birds” at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, August 19, and Saturday, August 20. The play is an Onassis Cultural Center production and features English subtitles. Admission ranges from 10 to 45 euros. Performances start at 9 p.m. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online at www.viva.gr as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St (inside the arcade; open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
