La Traviata | Athens | November 19-30
The Athens Concert Hall is hosting a Greek National Opera production of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” in a series of performances on November 19, 20, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 30. The production is directed by Nikos Petropoulos. Alternating in the role of Violetta is Myrto Papatanasiu, Elena Mosuc and Maria Mitsopoulou. The company’s orchestra is led by Lucas Karytinos. The production features Greek surtitles. Performances start at 8 p.m. Admission ranges from 20 to 50 euros (12 euros for students).
