Craft ales are continuing to gain popularity in Greece, with Greek brewers now making their mark in the local market. For the third year running, the Sunday ExBEERience series of events is returning to Barley Cargo in Athens, where craft ale lovers can enjoy new brews from around Greece made using locally grown ingredients. On June 4, the focus will be on the output of Ileia’s Magna Brewery, on June 11, it will be Epirus’s Stala ales, on the 18 it will be all about the capital’s own Noctua brews, and on June 25, Sparta beer from Laconia.
